What's new in v2.4
• John Barker
We’re thrilled to announce Rundown Studio release 2.4 – a significant update designed to make your rundown experience smoother, faster, and more intuitive than ever.
Big Feature: Auto-Start Cues
Say goodbye to manual triggering! With our brand-new Auto-Start Cues feature, cues can now be scheduled to start automatically at a specific time or linked together to flow one after the other. This enhancement means fewer disruptions and a more streamlined show experience.

Small Features
We’ve listened to your feedback and packed this release with practical enhancements:
- Smarter PDF Exports - After a show, your PDF exports will include elapsed times, and you’ll see at a glance if any cue ran over or under schedule.
- Added a new “Previous Cue” button - Need to jump back? Our new button lets you quickly return to the previous cue, ensuring you never lose track during live shows.
- Enhanced Customization: Column headings are now included in list outputs, making your data more readable and easier to manage. We’ve also added the ability to rearrange columns effortlessly, much like you’d reorder cues in your rundown.

Squashing Bugs
A smooth performance is key. In this release, we’ve tackled some pesky bugs:
- Fixed CSV Export Order - Columns in your CSV exports will now appear in the correct order – exactly how you set them up.
- PDF Export Optimization - Whether you’re dealing with image-heavy rundowns or generating detailed PDF exports, you’ll notice improved performance and reduced load times. Woo!
